All meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month and we meet downstairs at the large table near to the lift. The exception is December where we usually arrange a Christmas meal.

The meeting begins at 7:00 pm and usually runs about 90 minutes.

Tuesday, October 21, 2008: A Quiet Belief in Angels by R J Ellory.

Members are encouraged to bring recommendations to the next meeting in August so we can select books for coming months.

As a few members did not wish to continue reading Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series, alternative titles have been chosen for June and August. These books will be discussed after the main book. Members are free to read either of these books or both if they wish.

June 17th, 2008: His Dark Materials Book Two: The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman. The alternative book is On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwan.

July 15th, 2008: Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell. We are reading the Bloomsbury Omnibus Edition published 5 Nov 2007.

August 19th, 2008: His Dark Materials Book Three: The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman. the alternative book is Mansfield Park by Jane Austen.

September 16th, 2008: A Quiet Belief in Angels by R J Ellory.
